Headhouse Square Indie Film Series: Down the Road

Wednesdays in Headhouse, catch the 2011 Indie Film Series. This week’s screening on, Wednesday, August 3, at 2nd & Pine will be Down the Road, written and directed by Jason Christopher. This will be the first screening for the yet unreleased horror film about a group of college students who find themselves fighting for their lives from a revenge seeking mad man.

The film will be introduced by Director Jason Christopher and Special Effects pro, Lauren Palmer at 7:30pm. The show begins at 8pm and don’t forget to bring your own chair.

Released in 2010, this film is set in race-torn, 1976 Philadelphia and features a score by The Roots. It’s written and directed by Tanya Hamilton and received nominations at both the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and 2011 Image Awards.
