Second Saturday on the Avenue

This Saturday, August 13, head down to Passyunk Avenue for some great sales, free beers and a Go Go’s tribute band. Many businesses will be participating in the Second Saturday Stroll from 6pm – 10pm, but here are just a few.

The Bottle Shop is offering free samples of Magic Hat from 6pm – 8pm.
Aci Nae is having a buy one get one 50% off end of summer sale.
Metro Men’s Clothing has 50% off their summer apparel too.
Sweet Jane Vintage is celebrating its 1-year anniversary with a 20% off sale and complimentary beverages from 6pm – 10pm.
FUEL is participating with $2 Lattes and Cappuccinos all day.
Fringe Salon has a GoGo’s tribute band lined up and will have snacks, wine and music from 6pm – 10pm.

International Beer Tasting at the Bottle Shop

The Bottle Shop is holding a Free International Beer Tasting Event this Thursday, July 21, from 7pm – 9pm. The East Passyunk Avenue beer boutique will be offering some of the finest international beers at the event, including Innis & Gunn and Estrella Damm.

Try for taste for free, and buy for later. Plus, those who purchase will be given some free swag.

As always, the fridges are stocked with over 700 different craft beers and the shelves are packed with gourmet popcorns, snacks and nuts.

2nd Saturday on the Avenue & Beer Week Throwdown

Each month East Passyunk Avenue celebrates Second Saturday with specials, deals, discounts, and music. This Saturday, June 11, stroll the avenue and check out the art, restaurants and shops that keep the neighborhood alive.

On the Beer Week scene, the ladies of The Bottle Show (1837 EPA) have an East Coast vs. West Coast throw-down planned with two separate sessions. $5 for one (1:30-4pm) or $8 for both (6:30 – 9pm). In the first round, Fegley’s BrewWorks and Magic Hat will go up against Breckenridge and Oskar Blues. And for the main event, Allagash and Pretty Things will battle it out with 21st Amendment and Elysian.
