uwishunu About the Kid-Friendly Summer Workshops

Over the next two months, the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and the Franklin Institute will be hosting a series of kid-friendly science demonstrations, lectures and special events called “Science in the Garden” at the new Pop-Up Garden at 20th and Market.

The free series kicks off this Wednesday, July 13, and will run on Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon–2 p.m. The series offers kids the chance to learn about science in the environment around them.

Children 12 and under will be given a passport that will be stamped at each program they attend. Five stamps give kids a free general admission ticket to the Franklin Institute.
