Philadelphia Cinema Alliance Hosts QFest & Dangers After Dark

Over the next 12 days, July 7th – 18th, LGBT directors and actors will be introducing their films and interacting with audiences at Ritz theaters around the city during the 17th Edition of QFest. Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, July 7, over 125 different films will be screened, bringing over 80 filmmakers and actors to Philadelphia. There will be panel discussions, receptions, parties and awards throughout the 12-day festival.

QFest is widely considered one of the leading GLBT film festivals in the country. Each July Philadelphia plays host to the event, created in 1995 by TLA Entertainment.

Also taking place during QFest is Dangers after Dark, the action and horror film festival, now in its 11th year. DAD will be showing nine different films aver the course of its festival.
