Cheap Eats During Center City Restaurant Week

What do you get when you offer a three-course menu for $35 at 126 Philadelphia restaurants? Center City Restaurant Week, of course! And this September, the Center City Restaurant Association has decided to keep the deals flowing for an extra week.

From September 12th – 17th and September 19th – 24th, Center City restaurants will be offering up delicious dishes at discounted prices. Diners should expect an appetizer, entrĂ©e and dessert for just $35 per person, not including drinks, tax or tip.

This is the time to make a reservation at that really nice place you keep walking by, but know that you don’t have the money to drop there. It’s the perfect opportunity to try something new or even revisit an old favorite.

Not sure where to book first? If you happen to be in the vicinity of 16th and Chestnut on September 8, stop in The Shops at Liberty Place for a free food sampling at 12:30pm. Chefs from participating restaurants will be on site serving up tastes of their Restaurant Week menus.

This year, for every meal you have during restaurant week, you have the chance to enter a drawing to win fifty-two $50 gift certificates to restaurants throughout the city. And, for an added perk, the Philadelphia PPA has promised NOT to ticket you for parking in loading zones – HA! just kidding. But they are offering $9 parking at dozens of lots and garages, as long as you present a parking voucher from a participating restaurant.
