Phashion Phest's Runway Show Is Dressed To Kill


Bussing it up to New York to get a peek of fall’s right-off-the-runway fashions is a thing of the past. Instead, Phashion Phest brings it all to you, right here in Philadelphia. This year’s event, Dressed To Kill, is being held on Tuesday September 28, from 6pm – 9pm under the Convention Center tunnel on 12th St. between Race and Arch - the perfect venue to reflect the crimes of fashion theme woven into the show.

For the past 17 years, Phashion Phest, has proven itself to be the Delaware Valley's premier fashion and beauty event showcasing upscale retailers, salons, accessory boutiques and related businesses. This year, Philly’s fashionista’s will come together for a cocktail reception and runway show where guests are welcomed to experience all of falls trendiest of trends presented by 7 salons, 12 retailers and 20 fashion and beauty sponsors.

During cocktails stylists from salons like Panache Hair Design of Philadelphia and Salon Rouge of Cherry Hill, NJ will be displaying their runway-ready beauty trends, making up all of the models for the show who were discovered at the “Fresh Face Model Search Competition” that was held earlier in the summer.

New this year, preceding the fashion show will be a hair show, highlighting the salons’ new fall hairstyles. The runway show will feature styles by upscale retailers from Philadelphia and the Delaware Valley, including Kenneth Cole, DKNY and South Moon Under.

Tickets for this fab event are $50 in advance and $60 at the door but only $25 for students with a valid student ID. Tickets include entry, a top shelf open bar and cocktail party hors d'oeuvres.
